Designation: Content Manager - Writer & Editor
Job Description:

The objective of this role is (i) to edit the structure, content, style and proofread the content of the courses, syllabus, documents, assignments etc., created by the teachers on ipassio.com and (ii) to create engaging content for target audience of ‘ipassio’ and build an interest & curiosity of ‘ipassio’ services both on the demand and supply side of the service. 

 

Principal Accountability:

  • Edit content and copy including structure editing, content editing, style editing and proofreading of the content written by company’s customers (i.e. course descriptions, course syllabus etc., written by teachers) on company’s website;
  • Produce high quality, fresh and creative content (2 articles / blogs per week, 1 social posts per day);
  • Come up with fresh, hot and creative content ideas and work on creative content production and distribution / promotion;
  • Help the company reach a wider audience through creative content marketing;
  • Ability to take inputs / feedback from company’s customers, seniors and other team members (from business development or marketing team) who are involved in the communications with the company’s customers;
  • A skillful bridging person to fulfill the needs of the company’s customers and its readers.

 

Critical Exposure:

  • To edit the structure, style, content and proofread the content of the courses, syllabus, documents, assignments etc., created by our teachers on ipassio.com;
  • To also create and publish fresh and high quality content (Articles / blogs / creative social posts) on ipassio.com, various blogging websites and on various social networks;
  • Expected to follow the SEO best practices related to content to optimize online search results on: Google, Yahoo, Bing etc., and to follow the social media best practices for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn etc.,

 

Candidate Profile:

  • BA / MA in English or Degree in Mass Comm. journalism or related field from reputed university;
  • 3-5 years of experience in creative content writing, content editing and copy editing;
  • Possess excellent content writing and editing skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of common web content writing and editing practices (content should be succinct, fact-filled, engaging, active tone etc.); and
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all team members and customers of the company.

Job Description:

Extensive experience in planning, strategising and implementing Online Paid Ad Campaigns on Google Adwords, Facbook and Instagram network including Search, Display and Remarketing. Ability to do competitive Analysis, create weekly reports and optimize these Paid Ad Campaigns. Extensive experience and knowledge of SEO - both on page and off page SEO (high quality backlinks, directory submissions etc). Hands on experience and knowledge of Social Media Management (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter) and its tools. Knowledge of hashtags, keywords, word limits on these social networks.

Objectives of Growth Manager (Business Development & Marketing):

 

The objective of this role is to build the market of ‘ipassio’ services both on the demand and supply side of the service. The Growth Manager (Business Development & Marketing) will be the face of ipassio in the target market and apart from driving sales will also build a strong brand presence of ipassio in the target market. The Growth Manager (Business Development & Marketing) will need to generate leads and improve product's online presence and ranking through various online marketing / advertising channels and social media marketing tools. The whole idea of coming up with ‘ipassio’ was to help an individual to get an appropriate guidance & motivate the fresh talents to make a career out of their respective hobbies.

 

Principal Accountability:

 

  • Quick understanding to learn company's product offering and should be able work towards this mission.;
  • Cold Calling and schedule meetings with customers;
  • Make calls to prospective customers; Inform them about the company's online product;
  • Follow-up with leads and convert to sign up;
  • Help customers to create their profiles (if required);
  • Set meeting invites / reminders with customers;
  • Meet customers in person as and when required;
  • Travel locally and anywhere within India to meet customers;
  • Writing creative emails to customers; and
  • Target based approach.

 

Critical Exposure: 

 

Minimum of a 2 years experience with strong Business Development & Marketing and presentation skills. He / She should be a quick grasper to understand the unique offering of the company and should have a strong exposure / understanding to build the market from scratch. 

 

Candidate Profile:

 

  • Preferably holding a MBA in Marketing;
  • Min. of a 2 years experience with strong Business Development & Marketing exposure;
  • Have good knowledge / understanding of using various online technologies and technical systems;
  • Have sound knowledge of all online marketing / advertising channels and social media marketing tools;
  • High self-confidence, enthusiastic, patience & high tolerance, ability to work under pressure and good dressing sense;
  • Have high and fluent English reading, writing and speaking skills. If possible, ability to fluently speak languages like Hindi or Marathi or Kannada or Tamil or Telugu would be considered as an additional advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills;
