Long term courses deal with creating a strong foundation on a specific topic. The syllabus of a Long term course is predefined and ready before the commencement of the course. This gives students an understanding of the knowledge they will gain in the stipulated period of time, helping them in their planning and decision making. The persistent support from teachers enables the student to accomplish and achieve the desired result or outcome within the given time frame. The class strength for Long term courses is limited to 3, ensuring that each student gets attention. A set of 3 individuals enrolling for a short term course encourages learning from peers and social interaction. This long term course bodes good for students passionate about learning, setting them up for the long-term or advanced level of learning.
Enrolling students will need to have previously acquired a basic understanding of Sufi music and be able to demonstrate this understanding during the first online course. Pen and paper will be required for note taking, however no other materials are required. Students will need to ensure they have time to not only commit to the online learning sessions, but to individual practice between courses as well.
