Personal singing with Marquita Waters
Over the course of eight weeks, Marquita Waters will coach students on better breathing and vocal techniques to help improve their voice in each 30-minute class. By learning these better breathing and vocal exercise techniques, students will understand exactly how to build stronger muscles in the throat to achieve the range, pitch and volume they have been training for. Marquita will also teach students how to nurture and take care of their voice for healthier vocals.

Course Details
In each lesson, Marquita Waters will explain how the voice and muscles are working and applying these explanations to the voice work and exercises completed. Exercises and techniques that are undertaken in the lessons will be practised while Marquita helps the student to breathe correctly, to strengthen and support notes without straining the voice while also aiding in strengthening the vocal muscles. Students will work on songs of their choosing and Marquita will help them to identify any problem areas such as pitch, tone, volume, strength and anything else which may occur while singing.
Students will work with Marquita at their own pace and can ask any, and all, questions during these sessions. Students can also query specifics in each song they sing with her; if a part is too difficult to sing, Marquita will show them how to do it and then give them exact exercises which will guide the student, making these parts easier for them to sing.
