3D Mural Clay Sculpturing of Ganesha
This 5 week short term course introduces students to the art of creating a ‘3D Ganesha Mural’ in clay. Murals are pieces of art carried out directly on the hard surface, taking into consideration the architectural elements evident in the space. In this course students will learn to make Handmade Clay sculpting, texturing, Designing & professional way of coloring process (NO Mould work). Students enrolling for this course will not just learn about 3D mural, sculpting and painting, but by the end of it, would have created an art piece entirely by themselves. They can use it to beautify their homes or gift it to a near and dear one.
Students enrolling for this course will learn to clay sculpturing idol of Lord Ganesha, revered as a deity encouraging arts and sciences. Clay Sculpting tutorial topics will be covered in step by step stages as mentioned below. Throughout the course the teacher will provide students with useful tips that make the effort easy. She will also provide her valuable feedback for students to get the maximum out of their effort, ensuring that the outcome is as desired.

About Kawita Thakur: Kawita Thakur is a renowned name in the field of arts and crafts. It was her passion for learning arts that made her move from Ranchi to Mumbai when she got enrolled at the Sir J. J. School of Arts in Mumbai. In 1990. Completing the course with flying colors, Kawita worked at an advertising job for a couple years. Unable to satisfy her quest to do something creative and encouraged by her husband Promod Thakur, Kawita quit the job to start something of her own. Today, Kawita garners respect not just as an exceptional teacher, sharing her expertise, but has also as a seasoned and successful entrepreneur. Kawita’s art pieces are popular with corporates, hotel chains and individuals. She has through the years taught her art and shared her skills with students from around the world, countries like the US, UK, UAE etc.
