About the Course
The classes by design focus on covering the following:

- Major and Minor scales, 2 positions of each scale
- Strumming patterns,
- Chord formulas and the concept of open chords
- The basics of Arpeggios

Those at the intermediate level will learn to play the guitar soulfully by mastering advanced techniques. Instructor Swara will guide her students to understand the following:
- Chord progressions
- Advanced positioning
- Chromatic patterns
- Bar chords
- Relative minor notes and scales
- Circle of 5th
- Grace notes
- Legatos
- Tips to compose a solo.
About the Teacher: Swara is a 17 yr young soulful acoustic guitarist and a trained instructor representing Sriram Iyer’s Academy. She has accompanied acclaimed Bollywood singer Shriram Iyer in live concerts and studio recordings. Swara has been playing guitar for 8 years. She has cleared the 6th grade of Trinity college of London with flying colors
Swara also has a thorough understanding of Hindustani Classical Music. Swara’s soulful singing of Bollywood and western songs coupled with her hands-on experience of playing guitar not only differentiates her guitar skills but also makes her guitar sing!!
