Long term courses deal with creating a strong foundation on a specific topic. The syllabus of a Long term course is predefined and ready before the commencement of the course. This gives students an understanding of the knowledge they will gain in the stipulated period of time, helping them in their planning and decision making. The persistent support from teachers enables the student to accomplish and achieve the desired result or outcome within the given time frame. The class strength for Long term courses is limited to 3, ensuring that each student gets attention. A set of 3 individuals enrolling for a short term course encourages learning from peers and social interaction. This long term course bodes good for students passionate about learning, setting them up for the long-term or advanced level of learning.
As a course designed to accommodate beginners, there are no prerequisites required before enrolling. Students will need pen and paper for taking notes, but no other materials are required to complete this course. Those enrolling will also need to ensure they have the time not only to commit to the online sessions, but to dedicate to independent practice between lessons too. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to advance to the next level of their Sanskrit education and may enroll in the course again if they wish to pursue the language further.
