While doing this course, the students will start observing a huge difference in their voices. They will gain a proper understanding of how to improve their voice quality and ways to preserve their voice. As a part of the vocal training routine, the students will be introduced to vocal warm-ups, each intended for a specific purpose (for example, exercises that help use the right muscle groups while singing, exercises to help improve tone, exercises to build nasal resonance, understanding the concept of space and mouth positions, etc). The students will also undergo routines that will help students to prevent straining their voices. The students will also be advised about the right kind of diet before and after performances and practice sessions. It will help them to keep their voice in a proper shape. The course will also train the students on how to prep themselves for the stage before a performance.

About the teacher -
Rajni Shivaram has been trained in Indian Classical Music from the age of 8 till 16. After that, she realized that Blues and Jazz were her true calling. She is currently pursuing Western classical music intending to become an opera singer.
Rajni has performed with one of the pioneer Blues bands of India, The Chronic Blues Circus, for 3 years. At present, she has her band by the name Midnight Poppies. Her band's original compositions have been featured worldwide, in various countries like Canada, the UK, USA (Texas, Chicago), the Netherlands, etc. They have also featured on DD National's first-ever show for Indie bands - "Rock the Night".
Rajni has been teaching for the last three years. She finds joy in teaching technique training - an area that she specializes in.
Her teaching methodology comes from her years of practicing and correcting her techniques. She has studied and assimilated all the information to present it to the students in a systematic, structured manner so that is it easy to understand and enjoyable at the same time.
