Long term courses deal with creating a strong foundation on a specific topic. The syllabus of a Long term course is predefined and ready before the commencement of the course. This gives students an understanding of the knowledge they will gain in the stipulated period of time, helping them in their planning and decision making. The persistent support from teachers enables the student to accomplish and achieve the desired result or outcome within the given time frame. The class strength for Long term courses is limited to 3, ensuring that each student gets attention. A set of 3 individuals enrolling for a short term course encourages learning from peers and social interaction. This long term course bodes good for students passionate about learning, setting them up for the long-term or advanced level of learning.
As a beginner's course, there are no required prerequisites before enrollment. Students will need to have a chromatic harmonica of their own (in the scale of C), five small rubber bands, as well as pen or pencil with a notebook to dedicate to lesson notes. Students will need to ensure they have time to undertake the online courses as well as independent practice between sessions to ensure they receive the most from their time with Dilip Patil.
