The objective of this role is (i) to edit the structure, content, style and proofread the content of the courses, syllabus, documents, assignments etc., created by the teachers on ipassio.com and (ii) to create engaging content for target audience of ‘ipassio’ and build an interest & curiosity of ‘ipassio’ services both on the demand and supply side of the service.
- Edit content and copy including structure editing, content editing, style editing and proofreading of the content written by company’s customers (i.e. course descriptions, course syllabus etc., written by teachers) on company’s website;
- Produce high quality, fresh and creative content (2 articles / blogs per week, 1 social posts per day);
- Come up with fresh, hot and creative content ideas and work on creative content production and distribution / promotion;
- Help the company reach a wider audience through creative content marketing;
- Ability to take inputs / feedback from company’s customers, seniors and other team members (from business development or marketing team) who are involved in the communications with the company’s customers;
- A skillful bridging person to fulfill the needs of the company’s customers and its readers.
- To edit the structure, style, content and proofread the content of the courses, syllabus, documents, assignments etc., created by our teachers on ipassio.com;
- To also create and publish fresh and high quality content (Articles / blogs / creative social posts) on ipassio.com, various blogging websites and on various social networks;
- Expected to follow the SEO best practices related to content to optimize online search results on: Google, Yahoo, Bing etc., and to follow the social media best practices for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn etc.,
- BA / MA in English or Degree in Mass Comm. journalism or related field from reputed university;
- 3-5 years of experience in creative content writing, content editing and copy editing;
- Possess excellent content writing and editing skills;
- Excellent knowledge of common web content writing and editing practices (content should be succinct, fact-filled, engaging, active tone etc.); and
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all team members and customers of the company.
