As a course for beginners, Ghatam and Konnakol for Beginners does not require students to complete a prerequisite course before enrollment. Students will, however, need pen and paper for taking notes, a desire to learn music, and time to dedicate to the weekly lessons. In addition to twice-weekly lessons, students are encouraged to engage in independent practice, a key component of any music lessons. Successful completion of this course will provide foundational knowledge of Ghatam and Konnokol and prepare the student to take their musical journey to the next level with an intermediate Ghatam or Konnakol course.
