Surbhi Samdani's goal is to bring out your best voice! Whether you are new to singing or an experienced vocalist, she will make it fun and easy for anyone to learn their favourite song. The course will teach you step-by-step, covering the lyrics, song situation, music composition, and detailed nuances such as the ornamentations and embellishments. The course is for those aged over eight years and takes place across 1 x 60-minute classes over 20 weeks. However, completing this course 20 classes will depend on student's consistency, practice, and speed of learning. After listening and understanding the voice texture of the student, Surbhi will mutually finalise 5 songs of student's choice and will work on them. Notations and recording for follow up of each song will be provided by the teacher after the class so that student can detail practice it. Rhythm and composition of the song will be explained in detail.
Students will learn each song step by step. Students will get to understand the song situation, composition, lyrics and some of the pronunciations. Further, students will learn the basic tune and then start working on the Mukhda and then Antara. Soon, the students will learn finer nuances such as the modulations and beautification. You will get audio feedback on your submitted recordings. Singing favourite songs so effortlessly will boost the confidence of the student.
About the Instructor: Surbhi Samdani is an Indian Musician, Composer, Playback Singer and Performer. She has been trained professionally in Indian classical vocals for 10 years under various prominent gurus such as Pandit Raja Ram Shukla , Pandit Banwarilal Rao (Jaipur Gharana), Suresh Wadekar. She is also a BA and MA graduated in Hindustani Classical Music at Bhatkhande Music Institute Deemed University (BMIDU) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, institution in which she's currently attending for a PhD in Musicology. She works regularly as a performer of Classical, Semi-Classical and Light Music in local festivals, private shows and local Rajasthani TV stations. Outside her native Rajasthan, she has also performed in different stages and festivals located in Mumbai, Bangkok, Paris, Amsterdam etc. She's also a 2017 Sur Sangam National Youth Music Festival TOP 10 winner in Bollywood category. As part of her musical work, she started to give private (Hindustani classical) Music lessons since past 7 years. She has also organized Hindustani and Bollywood music workshops in All India and (Paris, Holland).
