About the Teacher

Sai Eishwary Mahashabde is a promising young artist who belongs to a family of musicians. His Grandfather Late Manohar Mahashabde was a noted Classical Singer of Indore in the pre-radio and broadcasting era.

He learned the first notes of music from his father Shri Dilip Mahashabde who is a graded singer of the All India Radio and Doordarshan under the Geet, Ghazal, and Bhajan Genre and has several hundreds of successful performances to his credit both in India and abroad.

Sai Eishwary's formal training began at the Sri Satya Sai Mirpuri College of Music in Puttaparti Andhra Pradesh under the watchful guidance of Smt Kumudini Mundkur. He also benefitted from the spiritual atmosphere in Puttaparthi. Here he learned human values and the direct connection between music and spirituality. He also got the great opportunity to perform in the direct divine presence of Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba and receive his blessings.

Sai was selected in the prestigious ITC Sangeet Research Academy and learned under the tutelage of Padmashree Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar and the Late Padmavibhushan Girija Devi both of whom are global performers and artists of Indian Classical Vocal Music.

Sai has a sound academic background and is currently a doctoral research scholar at Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan. Having learned under such stalwart musicians Sai feels that it is his turn now to continue the rich legacy forward and share the knowledge with more and more people who love this art and are in search of able guidance.
