The course will cover all the foundations of swars and how their moods change. The impact of these moods on the overall feel and atmosphere of songs will be explored so that students can understand how to use them to develop and perfect their own compositions. Students will also be taught how to compose with the aim of later adding lyrics to a musical piece, as well as to understand the demands lyrics bestow upon music and how to meet them. However, it's not just the musical relationship between lyrics and sound, but also the creation of lyrics that will be covered. Students will be in a better position to write lyrics with meaning and depth alongside their compositions.
