Creative Jewelry Design

The details of the course content for this course will vary based upon each student's goals, and current skill level. Instructor Sudeshna Makhal will begin each course with a session dedicated to planning the remainder of the course materials with the student, to ensure each student achieves their personal goals upon successful completion. Students may, after completion, enroll in this course again to continue their education with instructor Makhal if they wish.

Some of the instruction offered during this course include Rendering Illustration, Basic Drawing, Technical Drawing, History of Jewelry, Experimental Jewelry Designing, Ethno-Contemporary Designing, as well as Advance Designing. Beyond design, this course also offers presentation techniques with a focus on gemstone techniques and rendering stone settings, as well as orthographic, isometric and perspective view. Finally, course instructor Makhal will also provide advanced techniques such as the study of manufacturing and enameling techniques, and portfolio creation and design for those who are ready for more advanced topics.

Formerly, Makhal served as Head of Department and Senior Faculty at Hamstech Fashion Institute in Hyderabad.
