This beginner course on chess by Bino Sebastian will be taught over the span of 24 weeks. Your instructor for this course, Bino Sebastian will be teaching enrolling beginner students, the introduction to chess techniques and basic concepts. Enrolled students will also be receiving certification upon completion of this beginner course successfully. His curriculum topics include Basics - The board (ranks and files, square names), Pieces and value movements, Attacking and capturing, Check and checkmate and draw, Special moves (castling, en-passant), Stalemate, Opening rules, Piece development, Practice games, Rules of the game, Pin fork & skewers, Discovered attack, Double check, Zugzwang, Pawn promotion, Draw rules.
About the teacher: Bino Sebastian has over 2 decades of experience in this field of teaching and is very much focused on training kids at par and all levels and age groups. His experience and achievements are as follows - Championship in FIDE rated tournament - Dindugal, Runner-up in FIDE rated tournament - Bhubaneshwar, Participated in Dubai Rapid & Blitz international Chess event - 2015, Participated in Malaysian international Chess festival - 2016, Played against formal word championship challenger British Grandmaster Nigel Short. Mr. Bino, is an international FIDE rated Chess Player. He has designed this very structured training program as appropriate to children's playing level. It is a systematic program that covers all the fundamental theories of Chess. The training is aimed to equip students to become FIDE-rated Chess players within a year's time.
