Q: What if the student is unable to attend an upcoming class?

The student must inform the teacher about their absence from a particular session two days before the class. In such a case, the teacher will reschedule the class and conduct the rescheduled class on or before the end (i.e. Saturday) of the ensuing week or such other time as may be mutually decided between the teacher and the student. If the student misses giving two days prior notice about their absence, then the decision to conduct another class for that student is wholly based on the teacher’s discretion.

About the Teacher: Pooja Kalamandalam is a highly trained Kuchipudi artist and choreographer. She has an impressive experience of fourteen years of the artform. Currently, she is a guest lecturer of Kuchipudi at the Kerala Kalamandalam University for Art And Culture.

Pooja won the ‘K.P.S Menon award’ from Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed University for Art and Culture in 2011 at a very young age. She was honored with the ‘Yuva Kalaprathibha Puraskar’ (which is an award given to young upcoming artists who have shown their ability in more than one art form) From Delhi PanjavadyaTrust 2020. Also she was honored with the 'Natana Bhushan' Award from Nadam organization by nrityadaya Dance team, Doha, Qatar
