Q: How are the classes arranged ? Is it group class?

The classes are designed to suit the need of each student based on age and level of learning. There will be individual sessions only, so as to give maximum attention to each student. Group classes are NOT offered.

Q: What is the timing of the class?

Class timings can be fixed on mutual convenience.

Q: What age group can enrol for the classes?

One should be six years or above to enrol for these classes.

Q: What if the student is unable to attend an upcoming class?

The student must inform the teacher about his absence from a particular session two days before the class. In such a case, the teacher will reschedule the class and conduct the rescheduled class on or before the end (i.e. Saturday) of the ensuing week or such other time as may be mutually decided between the teacher and the student. If the student misses giving two days' prior notice about his absence to the teacher, then the decision to conduct another class for that student is wholly based on the teacher’s discretion.

About the Teacher: Devu Narayan is a Carnatic Music vocalist, teacher, and researcher based in Kerala. A disciple of Guru Smt. Shobana Krishnamoorthy for the last 12 years, Devu was initiated into the world of art and music as a toddler and was trained under several Acharyas.

Devu has a strong academic background in Carnatic Music and has secured ranks in Bachelor’s and Master’s (University of Kerala) degrees. Devu has also qualified State Eligibility Test (SET Kerala).

She has impressive Carnatic vocals teaching experience and has worked at various schools, including the prestigious Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pangode, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aakkulam, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kozhikode, and L'ecole Chempaka International School, Sreekaryam.

She has also been associated with TechSariga as a guest faculty and consultant in Carnatic Music. A 'B Grade artist' recognized by Akashvani (Prasar Bharati), Devu has performed at various concerts and music festivals, including Chembai Sangeethotsavam. She has several accolades to her name.
