About the Teacher: Anuja Borude Shinde started her Pakhawaj learning journey at the age of eight. She took training under the guidance of famous Pakhawaj player Pandit Vasantraoji Ghorpadkar of Nana Panse Gharana for 2.5 years. And later from renowned Pakhawaj player Pandit Akhileshji Gundecha. Since 2014, she is learning Pakhawaj at Bhopal Gurukul at ‘Dhrupad Sansthan’ by Padmashree Pandit Gundecha Brothers.
Anuja is one of the top female pakhawaj players in India. She has exhibited her skills on national and international stages. She has also been a recipient of various scholarships and honours.
