Students enrolling in this course must have a desire to learn music composition, access to a piano, and be able to take notes during lessons. All other materials, including a course book, are provided by the teacher. Students will also need time to practice individually each week in addition to class time. After the successful completion of the course, students will be able to compose two original melodies using the knowledge learned during the course, at which point Dr. Bathla awards certificates of completion.
