A Comprehensive Course on Sketching

Q: Do I need any prior experience in art or sketching before I join this class?

No prior experience or background in art is necessary. This class is designed to accommodate all skill levels, from beginners to more experienced artists.

Q: What materials do I need to bring to the class?

Typically, you'll need basic sketching materials like pencils (2B, 4B, and 6B,10B), an eraser, a sketchbook, and a pencil sharpener. Your teacher will provide a detailed materials list at the beginning of the course.

Q: Will I be required to complete homework or assignments outside of class time?

While homework is not mandatory, a dedicated practice regime should be put in place. This will reinforce the skills learned in class and you will have a steady and speedy progress.

Q: Will I receive a certificate upon completing the course?

Yes, upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate that can be used for personal records or to showcase your achievement.

Q: What if a student is unable to attend an upcoming class?

The student is required to inform the teacher about his/her absence from a particular session, two days before the class. In such a case, the teacher will reschedule the class and conduct the rescheduled class on or before the end (i.e. Saturday) of the ensuing week or such other time as may be mutually decided between the teacher and the student. In case the student misses to give two days prior notice about his/her absence to the teacher, then the decision to conduct another class for that student is completely based on the teacher’s discretion.

Q: How long will a teacher take to revert to students’ queries after class hours?

Students should get a response within 24 hours if the teacher is not preoccupied or traveling.

Q: What if the teacher wishes to reschedule a class?

If the teacher is unavailable for the scheduled class, he/she will inform the students two days before the class. The teacher will conduct the rescheduled class on or before the end (i.e. Saturday) of the ensuing week or such other time as may be mutually decided between the teacher and the student.
