Further it ensures development of perfect pitching and rythm sense to sing any song at ease. It also focuses on skills to create own impromptu improvisations on any song and make it your own song. The course is for those aged over five and takes place across 45-minute class per week, over 26 weeks.

This Bollywood singing course for beginners does not require the students to have any previous knowledge - simply an interest in music and an enthusiasm for learning. It will cover all the basics of voice techniques needed to sing Bollywood Hindi songs, providing students with an excellent base upon which they can build as they go forward on their musical journey. In this course students will learn about vocal projection and dynamics, learn to sing in perfect pitch and identify musical notes in a song, learn to sing in any taal at ease, understand the clarity in pronunciation of words/lyrics. Further, the students will also be given lessons on how to improvise a song on their own and make it their own song and vocal practices of swaras for overall musical enhancement.
About the teacher: Ayesha Mukherjee is a highly-trained and talented vocalist in Hindustani classical and semi-classical music. Mukherjee is a student of Shri Deborshee Bhattacharya and has previously trained under Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty and Pandit Ritesh Mishra of the Benaras Gharana tradition. With a history of prestigious awards and performances beginning from a young age, she is a renowned classical exponent in India. Mukerjee’s teaching style emphasises the technical and scientific, believing musical ability lies in the fundamentals. She says music to her is a clear picture and she strives to help her students build this ability to visualize the picture.
