This is a 1-on-1 online, live course with 2 sessions per week, for 24 weeks. Taught by the talented instructor and singer Sindhu Suchetan, this Carnatic vocals course is for beginners. The teacher focuses on the basics in the first few weeks. Introduction to basics includes the combination of swaras and talas which helps the student to get the Swara Sthanas or pitching and basic rhythm sense in this course. About The Instructor: Sindhu Suchethan is a professional Carnatic musician who performs both Carnatic Vocal and Carnatic Violin, the disciple of Ganakalashree vidwan HK Narasimha Murthy, Vid.HN Rajalakshmi, Vid.Pushpasreenivasan and Violin Maestro vid.HN Bhaskar. An 'A' graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, she is a recipient of CCRT scholarship from the Central government and awarded "Purandara award from Indiranagar Sangeetha sabha "Ananya Puraskara" from Ananya Bangalore, "Best Concert award" from Madras Music Academy, Chennai, "Nada Kishori' from Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, Mysore, to name a few. She has performed with many senior and leading artists and also been performing duet concerts with her younger sister Vid.HM Smitha.
