Course Details

This 1-on-1 online live course is for all beginners who aspire to take their first step in the world of Electric Bass.  This course will begin with an overview of instrument anatomy wherein the instructor Shalini Mohan will help her students know the instrument, get comfortable with it, identifying each part and its importance.  The course then progresses to musical notes and identifying them on the fretboard.  Once these basics are mastered, the students will learn the basics of music theory including classification of time, pitch, and note values, a basic level of left/right hand rudimentaries and exercises, and left/right hand techniques.

Further, this course will cover more foundational information such as students will learn about scales (theory and practical use) and ear training.  Finally, instructor Shalini will guide individuals in learning how to play simple songs on the Bass and how to compose interesting basslines.
