Course Summary
This is an online 1-on-1 introduction and bridge between basics and intermediates of Carnatic music for children course that takes place in weekly 45-minute sessions over the duration of 25 weeks. The course will teach children to appreciate and enjoy Carnatic music. If the child has had previous exposure, the course will cover the gitams and swarajatis before moving onto varnams.

About the Course
The topics covered will be Gitams and Swarajatis before moving into the next course, Varnams. The course will take between 3-6 months to complete. The course will enable to child to get an understanding of the basic structure of Carnatic music and hence a truly appreciate the art form. This will be a stepping stone for greater learning and understanding of Carnatic music.
About Aishwarya Vidhya Raghunath: Aishwarya Vidhya Raghunath is an emerging proponent of the Veena Dhanammal Bani of Carnatic classical music. Her family introduced her to the world of music at the young age of three and she performed on stage for the first time just 10 years later. Since then, she has been awarded the Government of India Scholarship (Ministry of Culture, 2008-2010) and has been rated an A-graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. Aishwarya has performed at countless venues nationally and internationally for a multitude of functions and assemblies. Not only a musician, Aishwarya is also a Biotech engineer having served as an executive at Biocon before committing to a full-time musical career. Today, she is as an instructor on ipassio is passing on the tradition of Carnatic music through passionately constructed lessons provided to students across the globe.
