Capable of much more than simple reheating or defrosting, microwave and convection cooking can produce meals, snacks, soups, desserts, and more! Sign up for this course to learn the basics from an expert in Indian cuisine with 3 decades of experience. Course Details
This course introduces students to the basics of microwave and convection cooking, which can be used to create fast, delicious, healthy meals in any kitchen. Students will learn the recipes of some popular snacks, vegetables, pulaos, biryani, baked items, sweets and puddings, all cooked using a microwave. Students will learn 3 recipes in each session and in total 15 receips over the span of 5 weeks. The recipes students will learn may include Jeera Aloo, Steamed Pakora Chaat, Dahi Curry with Pakora, Jeera Rice, Navratan Korma, Paneer Tikka, Vegetable Biryani, Khandavi, Healthy whole wheat flour brownie, Meethi Seviyan, Nan Khatai - an Indian cookie, Banana Walnut Muffins, Fruit Custard and old English trifle. In addition to recipes, students will pick up tips and tricks to making fast gourmet cuisine. This course is best for students who want delicious, home cooked meals but don’t have the time to make traditional recipes.
Students will have the opportunity to learn from a chef with nearly three decades of experience in Indian cooking. Receiving one-on-one attention from an accomplished chef provides guidance and direction for students to excel. Microwave Cooking for Beginners with Sunita Minglani provides students with a foundation in convection cuisine from which students can build and make their own. Class size is limited to five students, ensuring that each student gets the attention they need while also allowing students to learn from each other, as well as from the instructor.
About Ms. Sunita Minglani: Sunita Minglani believes that food is essential to the body, but good food nourishes the soul. Based in Jaipur, India, Sunita has a passion for Indian cuisine and experimenting with new techniques and recipes. She has been teaching cooking classes for nearly three decades to students of all ages and levels of ability. Sunita Minglani runs her own cooking school, Kitchen Craft Cooking School, and hosts a cooking show on ETV called Rasoi Se. Cooking and instruction is not only her profession, but also her passion, and she’s excited to bring her considerable expertise and passion to students on ipassio.
Students enrolling for this course on ipassio can be sure that they receive individual attention from the teacher, as the class strength is limited to 1 or 2 students. It also gives teachers the opportunity, to gauge their student's progress in-depth and make changes whenever and wherever required, to ensure the student gets the maximum out of this course. Since this course is detailed, students get the advantage of learning intricate details about this art form.
