This short term course introduces students to the concept of hatha yoga as a branch of yoga that stresses on the physical techniques or postures in yoga. This beginner short term course is the perfect start for anyone interested in learning the art of hatha yoga. Yoga is a celebrated activity that helps individuals to get control over mind body and soul and utilise them for the benefit of well being for the individual practising. Hatha yoga, in particular, is the concentration of getting the body in sync with the mind. The body postures or asanas practised in hatha yoga help an individual to get control over his body to make them work to his or her advantage. This course will entail learning basic hatha yoga asanas. It will teach students the benefits and limitations of practising a particular asana. Students suffering from an ailment are advised to share with the teacher any medical situation they might be facing or have experienced. This will help the teacher devise a plan or a set of yogas that are best suited for their condition. Practising of hatha yoga without taking into consideration the medical situation of students might be a reason for the adverse impact of hatha yoga on a student. The teacher through this short term course will look to provide students with tailor-made set of yoga asanas or posture that can help them overcome challenges they face in terms of their physical condition for e.g some students might like to practice asanas that help them reduce weight, some might want to loosen their cramped body parts through yoga exercises that are based on stretching techniques. The teacher will address each situation and suggest asanas that give maximum benefits to the students and helps them overcome any challenges they face with their physical condition. Students from here on have to practice the taught hatha yoga asanas regularly on an everyday basis to achieve the desired results.
About Yogacharya Bharath Shetty: Yogacharya Bharath Shetty is an E-RYT or an experienced, registered yoga teacher who has accomplished 2000 hours of teaching experience since completing training with an RYS or registered yoga school for a period of 200 to 500 hours. He is additionally certified or registered as a certified children's yoga teacher or RCYT as well as RPYT meaning registered prenatal yoga teacher. His journey in exploring yoga started at an early age. His belief in the ancient form of yoga got established when it helped him overcome his medical condition of asthma. Ever since his first initiation into teaching yoga started at a park, teaching a gathering on request, Bharath Shetty never looked back teaching and spreading yoga.
