This course is concentrated on teaching the you how to sculpt the human body in a small size. The most visibly prominent area in a figurine, i.e. the head, is where challenges start. In this course, through one/two live sessions a week, you will be taught to make the human body in small parts to make it easy. Students undergoing this course will be able to sculpt a human body from scratch using Super Sculpey polymer clay, wire and other materials.
For the purpose of this course, Barney will be using Super Sculpey Polymer clay, which if unbaked, can be reused multiple times. This provides students an opportunity to practice repeatedly till they get the desired result. This course will teach you the process of observing all the features of a human body; all reference materials will be made available. Having the proportions and placements chalked out will help you to create or sculpt body. Students undergoing this course will be taught the use of different tools such as dentist and ball stylus tools that will help to sculpt or carve out details on Super Sculpey clay. You will be taught basic human anatomy and how they will show up in certain poses.
Please note that this course will be taught through one/two live sessions every week. The teacher will ensure that the students are correctly implementing what they have learned through these live sessions and clarify any doubts.
