- Understanding the very foundation of solo music, Vilambit Teen Taal.
- Detailed insight into a traditional composition of the solo Tabla including the complex Peshkar and fast Rela.
- Learning some less popular but nevertheless important rhythms.
- The very final lesson of the course gives the student the opportunity to make practical use of the rhythms he or she has learned during the courses and accompany some pre-recorded music.

He has trained with revered practitioners such as Padma Bhushan Pandit Puttaraja Kavi Gavayi Ji, Sangeet Maharshu Pandit Shantaram Ji, and Chigari Guruji.
