These classes will cover different aspects, understanding where your voice stands right now, the type of songs that would suit your voice, teaching you how to control your breathing while singing, and finally the aspect of western singing.`The following concepts will be covered:

• Basics of breathing, correct posture and resonance
• Tips to warm up without tension to your vocal cords
• Tips to sing with soul by adding expressions 
• Basics of singing; including vocal and physical exercises to release tension in your vocal cords and body, for you to sing more efficiently

About the Teacher: Sooraj Rajan is a highly trained singer/songwriter from Bangalore. He has been performing and playing music for eight years and is currently working on his new album. Since his childhood, he has been a keen learner of music especially singing and playing the guitar. His first teacher was his father from whom he learnt how to appreciate music first. Songs from movies like Roja and Rangeela inspired him to learn singing and practised with the playback for hours at a stretch, till he thought he got it right.

He has collaborated with artists like Krfew and Krishanu Borah for their independent projects which are available on all the music streaming platforms. The song 'Kashi' with the renowned producer of Delhi, Krfew, has over a hundred thousand views on Youtube.

Sooraj released a three-track EP called 'Dispose' in the year 2019 and was a part of the 98.3 Fm Radio Artist of the Month podcast.

His original music revolves around Indie pop and alternative, inspired by artists such as The Beatles, The Doors, Radiohead, AR Rahman, Illayaraja, Amit Trivedi and many more. The melody of a song is something Sooraj resonates with the most.
