This course will include lessons designed to ready a musician for a professional career. Picking up where Bombay C N Balaji’s previous course left off, this course will begin guiding students through incorporating proper aesthetics for musical composition. This course will also provide instruction on the importance of pauses during a concert, as well as proper construction and delivery of Carnatic solos.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be prepared to enter the musical world with the highest level of expertise, accompanying other musicians as well as performing solo recitals. Students will benefit from the continuity provided by progressing through this series with the devotion of one mridangam master.

As the fourth course in a series, it is a prerequisite that students complete Bombay C N Balaji’s 'Intermediate Mridangam' before enrollment. Students must have their own mridangam and be prepared to make the time commitment necessary to not only promptly attend online sessions, but also practice independently throughout the week. This course lasts 100 weeks, however true mastery of an instrument takes years of learning and practice. It is important for students to understand this commitment when enrolling.
